Camp Fire Clubs Visit Hantesa for Annual Overnight

This past weekend, we held our annual Club Overnight at camp. We saw faces from Boone, Des Moines, and Ames all converge to celebrate the end of the club year and explore more of Camp Hantesa.Check out the pictures below to get a peek at our awesome adventure!

Pony Rides and Fun at the Barn

The rain stayed away today and we were able to celebrate “Best in the West” day with pony rides! We enjoyed our time with our furry friends and look forward to learning more this summer! Check out our Herman’s Ranch Camp and our Riding Day Camp!

Did your kids like the pony ride today? Send them to Riding Day Camp OR if they are 4th grade and above, sign them up for the ultimate experience: a week at Herman’s Ranch Camp. Spend quality time at the barn each day and then join in on all of the resident camp fun too! At the end of the week, you can participate in a horse show to show off the skills you’ve gained during the week! Campers who participate at Herman’s may learn how to trot, canter, jump or even learn dressage riding…The possibilities are endless!

 

How Did You Spend Your Saturday?: Afternoon at the Ranch

It was a bit chilly and gloomy this Saturday, but you never would have noticed at the barn! Our Afternoon at the Ranch this weekend went really well. Campers came to the Equestrian Center for an afternoon of riding lessons and horse science. We have three more weekends of this great program.
