Red vs. Blue: “Main Event” week sparks teamwork and spirit

This week at Resident Camp we are having the “Main Event.” Campers and counselors have been evenly split between the Red Team and the Blue Team. Each team has made cheers, flags, and defined a mascot. The Red Team is Team Clifford (the big red dog!) and the Blue Team is Team Dolphin.

On Tuesday evening we played a great game of counselor hunt. Pairs of campers searched for counselors around a specified area of camp. If they tagged a counselor, a special formula was used to determine points for their team. Team Dolphin won by a slight margin. Some of our counselors hid so well that no camper found them. Ms. Gus, for instance, was worth the highest number of points out of all of the counselors. She hid herself well and no camper ever found her! Mr. Spicy Charles was also very clever; he wrapped up in a green blanket to blend in with the vegetation. No one found him!
